18/3/1890 Mr Stewart (representative of Garden & Co) was proposing that men who were absent f rom work without permission should not only lose pay but be fined 6d per hour of absence
25/5/1891 accused by Stonecutters' Union of working excessive overtime
20/5/1892 an apprentice deserts the company to work with another member of AGA
4/7/1893 "anxious" meeting between deputation from AGA and company with some concern as to wh ether Garden was to remain part of employer's association.
